Established educational Bible college SMBC approached Lokal with a concept to provide a ‘gap year’ of sorts for recent school leavers. The focus being on hand-on experiences and cross-cultural learning. The wealth of experience from SMBC lecturers combined with the youthful energy of the new students is an interesting mix to think about designing for. Lokal saw this as a great linking course to wherever the student may be heading in their future (university, work, overseas work)… Hence, The Bridge.

Lokal worked with SMBC to: name the new course, ‘The Bridge’; establish a logo and visual brand to convey life, energy and down-to-earth practical learning; define 5 key benefits of studying the course; and roll out a launch campaign highlighting these benefits across print, web and video.
